Use of the service

StraitTraffic is provided free of charge for information purposes. You may view, quote and link to the figures with attribution to StraitTraffic. Automated bulk downloading of the site or its data feeds is not permitted without prior agreement.

No navigation use

The service is not a navigation aid, not a vessel traffic service and not an official source of maritime information. It must not be used for navigation, collision avoidance, search and rescue, or any safety-critical decision.

Accuracy

All data is derived from public AIS broadcasts received through terrestrial networks and processed automatically. Coverage gaps, transmission errors, deliberate manipulation of AIS by vessels and processing limitations can all cause figures to be incomplete or wrong. StraitTraffic makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information on the site.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StraitTraffic and its operators accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the information provided.
